Our Natural Dyeing

Natural dyeing is not a new concept. It has been traced back for more than thounds of years in the countries such as India, Japan, and China. The principle of natural dyeing is to extract pigments from plants or vegetables. Then the fabrics, pigments and dye-fixing agents are put into a pot. Based on the PH difference of the heated environment, the desired color will be achieved and fixed.

 

 

Because of global industrial development in the last century, chemical dyeing agents have been used to improve the efficiency of dyeing process. But the price we paid is the irreversible contamination of our ocean.

Moreover, only 100% of natural fabrics can be colored by natural pigments, and natural dyeing provides a high end luxury sense so the finished color looks obviously unparrell and unique than normal chemical dyeing color.

 

 

Nowadays, some luxury brands start to use natural dyeing for their procuts and clothes in Europe.

However, the cost of natural dyeing is 20 times higher(or more) than the cost of normal chemical dyeing, so there are few chances to enter the mainstream market.
